DETERMINING THE RIGHT SHOE SIZE
This is one of the most popular questions we get asked. Our sizing is fairly standard so if you are normally a size 8 then order a size 8. If the shoes are a small or large make, we will let you know when you order.

If you’re unsure about what shoes size you need order follow these simple measurement tips:
Take all your measurements at the end of the day when your feet are the largest
Measure both feet and always fit shoes to the larger foot
Sit in a chair when taking your measurements for greater accuracy. (if you are doing it yourself)
While seated, place your foot on a piece of paper in front of you. With a pencil trace around the foot. Hold the pencil as straight as possible and make sure it stays in constant contact with your foot
With a ruler, measure your tracing to determine the length and width of your foot
Foot length – to find the length, measure the distance between the two longest points and reduce by 5mm. If measuring in inches please divide by 2.54 to give a measurement in centimetres.
Foot width – to find your foot width measure the distance between the 2 widest points of your tracing then reduce by 5mm.    if you are a Size 9 normally, then order a size 9. Most of our shoes are fairly standard sizes. If this differs, we will let you know when you place your order with us.

Do your shoes come in ½ sizes?
Most of our designs come in ½ sizes. Where ½ sizes are available it will specify on the product information.

I cant find very small or larger sizes - why is this?
It can be hard to find size 4,5 or 11, 12 from our suppliers which is why they arent many featured on the site. However you can get size 4 and 11, 12, 12 & 14 in our Made to Order styles. If you are looking for something in particular please email us and we will try to help as best we can. 

GENERAL INFORMATION
What are your shoes made from?
Our shoes are made from various materials. It will state in the shoe information what they are made from.  Our  range varies and shoes can be made from Leather, Imitation Leather, Satin, Material, suede, Patent Leather or fabric. And we can make synthetic and non leather shoes on request.

How often do you get new stock?
We know that princesses love new things so we will be updating stock very regularly. If you register for Chicmail we will send you updates when new stock arrives.
We always get emails from princesses who cant find a shoe they saw last week, that is is because that shoe is no longer available. Some styles sell very quickly so to avoid disappointment dont leave it.

Promotional terms
Promotions on the site not valid with other offers. When a specific dollar amount is part of the promotional terms, this amount does not include postage or gst. Princess Chic has the right to refuse any promotional offer if terms and conditions are not adhered to. If you are unsure, please email us.

I have a Gift Voucher? How do i order?
If you are lucky enough to have been give a Gift Voucher as a present, there will be a product code on the voucher that you enter on checkout. The voucher can only be used once and needs to be to at least the value of the voucher for it to activate. Happy shopping lucky princess

How long do i have to use my store credit?
You have 6 months from the time of issue to use your store credit. You will need to claim your credit by adding the promotional code given to you during checkout. No change will be given on store credits.

I have a Gift Card. How can i use it? 
You can use your Gift Card if you follow these conditions. Discount is off full price items only. It is not valid with any other promotion or offer. Only one voucher can be used per person. The voucher can be used in one transaction at the time of purchase. You must enter code at checkout to redeem at time of purchase. It must be used by the Valid to date. Princess Chic reserves the right to deny discounts for people not abiding by terms and conditions outlined. If you have been given a $20 or $25 gift card at event, they can only be used on purchases over $100 (not including postage)

What if I don’t like my shoes?
We don’t exchange shoes simply because you have changed your mind so please choose carefully.

Is my personal information kept private?
Our chics are important to us and we will not sell or pass on your details to anyone. The information we collect is used for internal Princess Chic purposes only, to help provide you better products and services.

How to place an order?
Simply browse through the Princess Chic range of products. When you find an item you wish to purchase, simply ‘add to Chic shopping bag’ and either continue shopping like a true princess chic (after all you can never have too many pair of shoes) or chic out. You can review your order and once your satisfied you can check out and pay for your purchase.

How do I pay?
We accept payment via Paypal, Credit Card (Ematters), Direct Debit and are trialing LayBy. If you are not a member of Paypal, you can join here www.paypal.com.au
NO ORDERS WILL BE PROCESSED OR SHIPPED UNLESS PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. PLEASE ENSURE PAYMENT IS MADE AT TIME OF ORDER. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE ORDERS UNLESS PAYMENT IS RECEIVED IMMEDIATELY.

If orders are placed and no payment is made, Princess Chic reserves the right not to process future orders for you on the site. Our ability to process our orders can be affected by 'orders that arent real' and inconvenience other customers.

Will I receive confirmation of my online order?
Yes, you will receive an automatic online confirmation via email but please make sure you have submitted the correct email address so this happens. Out of stock
Being an internet site, it can be difficult to determine if items you are purchasing are being purchased by other customers at the same time. If your order is unavailable, we will let you know within 24 -48 hours. If this occurs you have several options:
* you can choose another item
* we will offer you a refund
* we can send you a voucher for when you go shopping with us again

Can i change my order once you have processed it (before it receive it)?
You can change your order only if we have the item in stock. If it was a special order item and you change your mind, you will incur a fee of $30 for administration processing.

What are special order shoes?
Special order shoes arent in stock at Princess Chic HQ and will take a little bit longer to get to you. Chics want what we haven’t got.  We want to be rich and famous, we want to marry the man of our dreams, we want to travel the world, we want fabulous jewellery and of course, designer shoes. And we usually want everything now!  But when shoes are special it takes a little longer to get them. So if you’re a really good princess you’ll get your special order shoes in 2-4 weeks.  Remember, absence makes the heart grow fonder so you’ll appreciate them even more.

What are made to order shoes?
Made to order shoes means that when you purchase them we get them made by our factory, especially for you in the colour & size choice you have selected. These will take approximately 4 weeks to be delivered to you.

What is the difference between Made to order and Custom Made shoes?
Made to order shoes are part of an existing range of shoes on the site that can be ordered in different sizes, colours and widths however you cannot change the heel height. Sometimes we can variations like removing a bow etc. OUr Custom Made shoes are fully custom Made so you choose all the components available which is why they are a little more expensive than Made to order.

Can you make boots to fit a wider or narrower foot?
Yes we can, After you place your order, we contact you to get your measurements

Can you make boots or shoes that arent shown on the site?
A lot time we can do this but require a photo from you in order to check with our manufacturers.

Can I place an order from overseas?
Yes, we accept orders worldwide. You will need to allow additional time for your order to arrive. There will be additinal postage costs.

What if you can’t fill my order straight away?
Sometimes we may be out of stock of the item you have ordered. Being an online store sometimes it is difficult to determine what items are out of stock, particularly for items ordered at a similar time. If this is the case, we will let you know via email within 24 -48 hours of placing the order. We will do our absolute best to ensure your experience with PrincessChic is fun, easy and enjoyable.

I saw a pair of shoes last time I was on your website, however I cant find them now. Are they still available?
If the shoes you are looking for are not on the website this could mean that the style is no longer available as one of our chic lines or it may be out of stock. You can send us an email and we will can see if they are available in your size. We will be updating our range regularly and cant guarantee how long they will be available for. We constantly get emails from princesses about shoes they saw that are no longer available. So if you see 'em, love 'em and gotta have 'em, get in fast (particaulry with size 5's or 10's).

I’m worried about using my credit card on the net.
It’s understandable that you might be a bit nervous about using your credit card information on the internet. However we use an encrypted and secure server which means your details are safe. They are deleted from our system immediately after we process your order. As we use EMATTERS we do not see any of your credit card details, we just receive a payment from them. We use a SECURE server for payment.

I’m having problems with my credit card while trying to shop online. Why?
There could be several reasons for this. The most common being the postage address you entered does not match the postal address on your credit card statement. If the two addresses don’t match then the credit card will be denied.

Where are you located?
We are based in Brisbane, QLD. There are 2 reasons why we dont list a phone number...
1. We get constant calls from salespeople trying to sell us things and would rather spend this time servicing our customers
2. We are in and out of the office for meetings, events and Personal Shoe Styling Sessions so we choose to have an email form rather than a phone number

 
DESIGN RANGE
I have my own design, can you make these?
Yes and no.  We offer a custom made service which offers 6 selected designs so you can design your own shoes. From time to time, we can also make other designs. Being custom designed, mans they will take 4-6 weeks to be delivered but you are guaranteed to have a ‘one of a kind‘ pair of shoes.    We hope you enjoy our Custom Made Chic shoe salon.

Is there is a particular shoe you are looking for? We may be able to source it for you. Just email us at princess chic and we will try and find them for you. We have many suppliers over the world we use, so we will do our best to find it for you. Alternatively you will be able to design your own in our Custom Chic design link soon. Contact us

Me and my girlfriends wish to purchase the same shoes for an event. What is the best way to do this so we can make sure you have the stock and can supply them to us?
If you are in a bridal party or need shoes for a special event, please email me us prior to placing your order and tell us the style name and what sizes you require. We will then check our stock and let you know if we can fulfill your order.

POSTAGE
How will you send it to me?
Postage within Australia is via Australia post Express Post or courier.  Postage overseas will be via Airmail.
Postage charges are automatically calculated on Chic out.  Import Duties may apply on international orders. It is the customers’ responsibility to cover these costs, if they apply.

How long does it take?
Within Australia your order will arrive between 1-4 business days after you have ordered it. (exception will be lines ordered by Special Order). Overseas orders will take up to 6 weeks to arrive due to customs.  Special orders will take 3-4 weeks to be delivered.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
I received my shoes but they do not fit. Can I exchange them?
Please be very careful to ensure you order the correct size by following the measuring tips and conversion charts we have provided.

If your shoes do not fit you can exchange them for the same style provided the following conditions are met:
They are returned within 7 days of receiving them
The shoes must be in the original shoebox in the original new condition
Please include order number and reason for returning merchandise in the return package so we can match it to your order.
Please tell us what size you require.
You are responsible to return postage / shipping costs
Sshoes can only be exchanged once.
If you send shoes back saying that they are damaged and they are not, no refund or exchange will be permitted, under any circumstances. Shoes MUST be returned within 7 days of purchase.

PLEASE EMAIL US TO LET US KNOW IF YOUR SHOES DO NOT FIT, PRIOR TO SENDING THE SHOES BACK. Once we authorise the return, then we will notify you in order to return them to us. A credit or exchange will be issued when the shoes have been received. Returns can be sent back to: Princess Chic PO Box 5054, Mt Gravatt East QLD 4122 Please include your name, order number and details or the shoes you require with the returned shoes. NB: We will not exchange worn merchandise or shoes that have any marks on them or exchange shoes that have not been approved PRIOR to return. REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL NOT BE GIVEN ON SALE ITEMS SO CHOOSE CAREFULLY.
We do not refund on shoes that have been customised to suit you  (eg: we have changed the colour, width, embellishments, copied a design etc)  from the photo shown on the website, These shoes have been specifically made for you so we cannot resell them.

If you knowingly order the wrong size shoes, they will not be exchanged or credited. Any exchanges must be finalised within 7 day, unless you have prior consent from Princess Chic.

It is the right of Princess Chic to decide how any exhanges, refunds or credits are handled. All postage costs will need to be covered by the buyer so an additional postage payment may need to be made. If we dont have your shoe size in stock, we will issue a credit to use at a later date.

Do you offer refunds?
We will give you a refund if your shoes are faulty or damaged.  Refunds will not include the cost of postage
Refunds will not be accepted more than 30 days after you have received your purchase so please contact us sooner rather than later to arrange a refund.
